The Education Achievement Service (EAS) delivers school improvement services on behalf of the five Local Authorities in South East Wales: Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Newport, Monmouthshire and Torfaen. Applications are invited for this post that will play a leading role in the further development of a high-quality school improvement service supporting schools with the region.

With a recognised professional qualification in a relevant field and excellent knowledge of effective communication strategies, the successful candidate will be responsible for increasing the reach and quality of EAS communications, developing the EAS brand and managing all public relations activities to raise the profile of the EAS. With extensive experience of working at a senior level in a PR, communications or media role, you will build strong relationships with all stakeholders and develop a cohesive communications strategy which supports and enhances the work of the EAS.
